Why games? Functional art (aka design I guess) is something I've always been drawn to. I express it usually through graphic design, but games... are fascinating. So many interconnecting parts that make up an experience. And that's what it's all about, enriching the human experience, in the end. Nice to meet you from distant (maybe) New Zealand.
What follows is a list of stuff I'm into to maybe get a better sense of my self:
Lighting, shadow, contrast, thematic dissonance, balance, colour, colour, colour, narrative, monster designs, elegant mechanics, fast action, slow contemplation, melancholy, triangles, space, sci-fi, typography both great and terrible, digital artifacting, minimalism, white space, thoughtful anime, character-focused writing, Alphonse Mucha, travel, Italian food, eating well, comfort, self-improvement, learning, honesty, cold showers, confidence, playing devil's advocate, understanding, acceptance.
